This annual one-day Sun City tournament
began in 2010. Long-time Sun City
club member
Jack Morgan

Citrus District event through
the donation of a perpetual trophy plaque
and cash prizes.
The event consists of a morning fours contest and two afternoon pairs for each team. One member of the 5-person team will not play in the morning and a different person will sit out in the afternoon. The event provides a tournament opportunity for those who are unable to endure more than one game.
All games are 14 ends with Quinnell scoring. Tthe afternoon pairs games included one game of regular pairs and a game of Australian Pairs.
The winning team shown at right included (left to right) Theota LeDonne, Mary Asay, Patt Henry and Jim Popevis. Also on the team (not pictured) was Mike Bright. Jack Morgan is shown presenting the trophy that is engraved to acknowledge the winners.
