The successful Hemet/Sun City Summer Festival in late July inspired the organizers to plan this contest. The special twist to this event was a closely-guarded secret until play began in Sun City on Tuesday August 24th.
At the beginning of play in Sun City, Skips drew cards for themselves and their Vices. Then the Leads drew numbers that assigned them to a team.
Thirty-six people played in the event, twleve from Sun City and twenty-four from Hemet. The names of the final team players are listed below in alphabetic order by Skip (Sun City players are in bold with a yellow background):
