CLUB ACTIVITIES

The club has eight annual tournaments for members and invited guests. It sponsors two tournaments (Don Goodrich Senior Triples and Sun City Mixed Triples) each year open to members of other clubs from the Southwest Division of the United States Lawn Bowls Association. It is a participating club in the Southwest Division's Vet/Novice Doubles Tournament. Beginning in 2010, it also hosts an event (Jack Morgan Mixed Five) open to members of the Southwest's Citrus District clubs (Hemet, Pomona, Redlands, Riverside and Sun City).

OTHER ACTIVITIES:
VISITATIONS
-
We maintain friendly competition with other clubs in the area, exchanging visitations with Hemet, Redlands, Riverside, San Diego and occasionally others. The visitations typically involve one or two 12-end games, and the host club sometimes provides lunch or other treats.

SPECIAL GAMES
-
Special games with food and prizes will be scheduled throughout the year. Special games typically have a $3.00 entry fee per bowler, part of which goes into the prize fund. Special games may include lunch for all participants with timely reservations. Non-bowlers will typically pay the entry fee.

BIRTHDAYS
-
We recognize member birthdays with ice cream and cake on one bowling day each month, typically the second Tuesday.

DINING OUT
-
Club members dine out together at local restaurants once each month, typically the third Thursday.
